Unified Jewish Jerusalem - Facts about Jerusalem
Facts about Jerusalem
If you believe what you read in most news sources, palestinians want a "homeland" and muslims want control over sites they consider "holy".
The fact that Jerusalem is the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT HOLY PLACE for JEWS seems to be irrelevant, while Muslims claim that Jerusalem is their THIRD holy place...
These are just phony excuses for the rioting, trouble-making and land-grabbing. It is interesting that prior to the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, there was no serious movement for an Arab-Palestinian homeland... You might say, that was before the Israelis seized and liberated the West Bank aka Judea and Samaria and the Old Ancient City of Jerusalem. That's true. In the Six-Day War, After Jordan kept shelling Israeli positions. Israel re-conquered and liberated Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem. But they didn't capture these territories from any palestinian state! They re-conquered them from Jordan, who were there illegally. Why all these Arab-Palestinians suddenly discovered their national identity after Israel defended itself and won the war? The truth is that Palestine is no more real than Eldorado or Lilliput.
The first time the name was used was in 70 CE when the Romans committed genocide against the Jews, smashed the Temple and declared the land of Israel would be no more. From then on, the Romans promised, it would be known as Palestine. The name was derived from the Tribe Philistines and Jebusites an ancient people conquered by the Jews centuries earlier and by that time no longer existing since some 39 centuries. It was a way for the Romans to add insult to injury. They also tried to change the name of Jerusalem to Aelia Capitolina, but that had even less staying power.
Palestine has never existed - before or since - as an autonomous entity. There is no language known as palestinian. There is no distinct palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.
The Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands over 5 million sq. miles. Israel represents one-tenth of 1 percent of the landmass. But that is too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today. Greed. Pride. Envy. Covetousness. No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough. The Arabs countries also expelled over a million Jewish families, who have lived there for over 2,500 years and confiscated all their assets, including 75,000 sq. miles of land. Most of the expelled Jewish families from Arab countries live in Israel today and they consist over half the population.
What about Islam's holy sites? There are none in Jerusalem! I don't expect you will ever hear this plain truth from anybody in the international media. It's just not politically correct (politically correct - means not telling the truth). I know what you're going to say: "the Al Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem represent Islam's third most holy sites." Not true. In fact, the Quran says nothing about Jerusalem. It mentions Mecca hundreds of times. It mentions Medina countless times (by the way, did you know the Jewish people were the inhabitants of Medina and Mecca, the Muslims slaughtered them and took their wives, daughters and sons as slaves). It never mentions Jerusalem. With good reason. There is no historical evidence to suggest Mohammed ever visited Jerusalem. So how did Jerusalem become the third holiest site of Islam? Muslims today cite a vague passage in the Quran, the seventeenth sura, entitled "The Night Journey." It relates that in a dream or a vision Mohammed was carried by night "from the sacred temple to the temple that is most remote, whose precinct we have blessed, that we might show him our signs....." some Muslims identified the two temples mentioned in this verse as being in Mecca and Jerusalem. And that's as close as Islam's connection with Jerusalem gets - myth, fantasy, wishful thinking. Jerusalem was identified by imams as the mythic "Al Quds" after the Zionist movement encouraged Jews to settle in Eretz Yisrael... but we know how much accurate are Arabs with regards to history and geography... just have a look to the "1001 Nights" or the Quran itself... Al Quds is no more real than Camelot! I suggest you to read the Quran and try to find if Jerusalem is mentioned any time... you will find many history mistakes, instead - for instance, Maryam, sister of Harun (Aharon) is the same person that Maryam the mother of Jesus, no matter that there is a gap of over 1200 years between one and the other!... also Haman, who was a Persian visir, is said to be Pharaoh's minister! This is the reliability of Muslim sources to claim for their legitimate rights!
Meanwhile, Jews have proved that their roots have close relationship with Mount Zion since the days of Avraham. King David conquered the Jebusites, founded Jerusalem and made her the capital of the Kingdom of Israel - when Arabs or Muslims were not even a dream, they only came about 2,000 years later.
Can you imagine what it is like for Jews to be threatened, stoned and physically kept out of the holiest site in Judaism? So what is the solution to the Middle East? If there is one, it needs to begin with truth. Pretending will only lead to more chaos and more bloodshed. Treating a 5,000-year-old birthright backed by overwhelming historical and archaeological evidence equally with illegitimate claims, wishes and wants gives diplomacy and peacekeeping a bad name and ignores facts and reality.
Nationhood and Jerusalem
Israel became a nation in more than two thousand years before the rise of Islam. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of an Arab-Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel (by the way Arab-Palestinians carry a Jordanian passport). Since the Israeli conquest in Yehoshua's times, Jews have had dominion over the land for over a thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 CE lasted no more than 22 years. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem and destroyed all the Jewish holy sites, they never sought to make her their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Bible (Tanach), the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Qoran. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem... Jewish prayers for thousands of years plead to G-d to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple, most Jewish holidays and fast days are in memory of Jerusalem and the Aspiration to return to it and rebuilt the temple.
Arab and Jewish Refugees: In 1948 the Arab "refugees" were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews. Almost 70 percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution and pogroms. the Middle East Jews and Sephardi Jews settled today in Israel, it is because Arabs have expelled them from the lands where those Jews were living for over 25 centuries! Arabs sent Jews to Israel, now they want to expel them also from there! The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 610,000. The number of Jewish refugees that were forced out from Arab lands is estimated to be some more than that... it is over a million Jewish families, and were ressetlled in Israel. Arab "refugees" were intentionally not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory over 5 million sq. miles (Israel's extension is less than 1% of the territory of all Arab lands). Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own peoples' lands. most Jewish refugees from Arab countries were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the island of Sicily, and some Jews immigrated to other western countries.
The Arab - Israeli Conflict: The Arab nations initiated all five wars against Israel and were defeated. Israel defended herself each time and won. The P.L.O.'s and Hamas Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. Israel has given the Arab-Palestinians most of the West Bank territory, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them with weapons which is used against the Israeli people. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and destroyed including cemeteries and the Jews were denied access to their places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.
The U.N. Record on Israel and the Arabs:Of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on, before 1990, 429 were directed against Israel (those resolutions are only a recommendation, they cannot supersede international treaties. The U.N. was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues and cemetsries were destroyed by the Jordanians. The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives. The U.N. was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. These are incredible times...

One of the most disturbing end times propaganda being promoted today is the absurd notion that the Jews never had a presence on the famous Temple Mount area in Jerusalem. Anyone who is knowledgeable about history and aware of the recent archaeological discoveries on the Temple Mount area over the years knows that the propaganda being perpetuated by the Islamics, United Nations, and other ungodly organizations is simply a political ploy to deny the Jews their historical capital of Jerusalem and the sacred Temple Mount area. The Temple Mount area is the holiest place in Judaism and the remnants of the Second Temple area visible in the form of the "Wailing Wall" where religious Jews flock from around the world in order to pray near the site of the First and Second Temples.
Some of the outstanding quotes from the official Temple Mount Guide are as follows:
"The site is one of the oldest in the world. Its sanctity dates from the earliest times. Its identity with the site of Solomon's Temple is beyond dispute. This, too, is the spot, according to universal belief, on which David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings" (2 Samuel 24:25).

How many holidays do the Arabs-Muslims celebrate due to historical events in the land of ancient Israel and Jerusalem.
ReplyDeleteThe Jewish people celebrate most of their holidays and fast days in memory of Jerusalem and Israel since 70 AD (that is over 2,000 years).
Pleading the Jewish goal and aspiration to return to Israel and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem - where it was before it was destroyed and desecrated by the enemies of the Jews. Many of the Jewish prayers for thousands of years recite the love of Israel and the Jewish aspirations to return to their ancestral land and bring back its glory and holiness.
At Jewish weddings they break a glass in memory of Jerusalem and the aspiration to return and build the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.
Every day at the end of the meal the Jews recite a blessing and thank G-d for providing sustenance and beseech G-d to return and rebuild the temple in Jerusalem.
Most Jewish prayers mention our pleading to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple.

Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria is Jewish territory - No annexation is required
ReplyDeleteIf anything it may need to be re-incorporated or re-patriated.
Let me pose an interesting scenario. If you had a country and it was conquered by foreign powers over a period of time. After many years you have taken back you country and land in various defensive wars. Do you have to officially annex those territories. It was always your territory and by retaking control and possession of your territory it is again your original property and there is no need to annex it. The title to your property is valid today as it was many years before.
Annexation only applies when you are taking over territory that was never yours to begin with, just like some European countries annexed territories of other countries.

Jews hold title to the Land of Greater Israel even if outnumbered a million to one.
The fact that more foreigners than Jews occupied the Land of Israel during certain periods of time does not diminish true ownership. If my house is invaded by a family ten times larger that mine does that obviate my true ownership?
Do you know the Rothschild family purchased about 20,000 acres of land in the Golan Heights and Syria. The deed are in the hands of the Israeli government. There are more and similar purchases that have not been disclosed to the public.
Israel must rebuild all 58 Synagogues destroyed by the Jordanians and the Arabs in the old city of Jerusalem as soon as possible.

In “Why Israel is the Victim” tells the ugly tale of the war against Israel, laying bare the sordid hypocrisies and deceits behind its campaign of violence. No volume can contain the full story of Islamic terrorism or the courageous ways in which the ordinary Israeli confronts it in the streets of his cities. What this essay does tell is the story of the lies behind that terror.
ReplyDeletePropaganda precedes war; it digs the graves and waits for them to be filled. The war against the Jews has never been limited to bullets and swords; it has always, first and foremost, been a war of words. When bombs explode on buses and rockets rain down on Israel homes, when mobs chant “Death to the Jews” and Iran races toward the construction of its genocidal bomb; the propaganda lies to cover up these crimes must be bold enough to contain not only the murders of individuals, but the prospective massacre of millions.
